Just Breathe….

It’s much easier said than done, especially if you have a trauma history or are anxious much of the time. If we don’t pay attention to our breath when we are stressed, we may have a shallow breathing pattern.

Did you know that with diaphragmatic (deep & slow breaths) breathing, you can voluntarily regulate your automatic nervous system and lower your heart rate, regulate your blood pressure, decrease the release of cortisol (the stress hormone) and more!
