When shopping for supplements, there are a few things to look for:

  • Can you pronounce and identify what is on the label?

  • Is there a nutritional facts label? (A “supplement” label is not regulated by the FDA).

  • Does the product have NSF certification, which certifies what is on the label is in the product, nothing more and nothing less?

  • Has the product had clinical research to support the efficacy of the product?
